Visibility in AI
Key phrases are terms from your category that Aelo uses to check whether AI models mention your brand. Based on these, the system automatically generates the questions it asks the models.

What does that mean?
From a phrase to a question in the model
You enter the phrase exactly as a customer would describe what they’re looking for, for example, „accountancy firm for a sole trader”. Aelo converts each phrase into questions for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, and checks which brands appear in the responses.
The questions do not include your brand name, so the result shows whether the model mentions you of its own accord. That’s how it works neutral scan. The set of questions remains the same between measurements (frozen query set), so that the results from subsequent months can be compared.
The number of phrases depends on the plan and is counted for each one brand separately: 3 in Free, 6 in Starter, 12 in Pro and from 24 in Custom. Details in price list.
FAQ
Questions about this concept
The questions that come up most often in connection with this concept.
How does a phrase differ from a query?
A phrase is a term that you enter. A query is a question that the system generates from the phrase and poses to the model.
Can a phrase contain a brand name?
Yes, but we measure such phrases separately. They show whether the model recognises the brand, not whether they recommend it within a category. The difference is described in the entry assessment and recommendation.
How many phrases can I monitor?
3 in the Free plan, 6 in the Starter plan, 12 in the Pro plan and from 24 in the Custom plan. The limit applies to a single brand.
